We're right in the middle of the 2014 summer festival season! If you haven't had the chance to check out the unique events going on in and around Denver each weekend maybe a few of these will pique your interest! 

Global Dance Festival

Where? Red Rocks Amphitheatre

When? July 18th-20th, 5 pm

How much? $150 - $300 (3 Day Passes)

Get ready to party like there's no tomorrow with thousands of your closest friends. This electronic music show will host over 60 premier electronic artists. Colorado Renaissance Festival

Where? 650 W. Perry Park Ave. Larkspur, CO 80118

When? Each weekend until August 3rd

How much? $9 - $20

Get your medieval outfit ready and return to the past to enjoy a few things we might be missing out on in these modern times. Jousts, royal weddings, wine tastings, and full turkey legs to devour are just a few of the things you're bound to run into while at the faire. Watertower Art & Craft Market

Where? RMCAD Campus - 1600 Pierce St. Denver, CO 80214

When? Saturday, July 19th, 10 am - 4 pm

How much? Free Admission

The staff, students, alumni and local artists are proud to announce their annual craft market at Rocky Mountain College of Art & Design. Throughout the day there will be local musicians, food vendors for lunch and snacks, workshops and demonstrations. Support your local community and mingle with some great artists. More information -

11th Annual Orthodox Food Festival & Old Globeville Days

Where? 47th and North Logan St. at historic Holy Transfiguration Orthodox Cathedral & Globeville-Argo Park

When? Saturday, July 19th, 11 am - 9:30 pm & Sunday, July 20th, 11 am - 5 pm

How much? Free admission, reasonable food prices!

Ever wonder what you'd be eating if you took a trip to Russia? How about Romania, Serbia, Ukraine, Greece, Mexico, Italy or Eritrea?! Well you can have a taste of all of those cultures at the Orthodox Food Festival! Grab a plate (or 10!) and enjoy free live music performances, dancing, crafts, children's activities and tours of the historic Orthodox cathedral. More info -

Colorado Shakespeare Festival

Where? UC Boulder 2400 Colorado Ave Boulder, Colorado 80302

When? Weekends June 7, 2014 - August 3, 2014. Times Vary!

How much? $20 - $60

One of the three largest Shakespeare festivals in the US! This 2014 season presents 5 shows: The Tempest, The Merry Wives of Windsor, I Hate Hamlet, Henry IV: Part 1 and Part 2. Performances occur beneath the warm Colorado summer skies in the historic Mary Rippon Outdoor Theatre and indoors at the University Theatre. More info and purchase tickets -
